TOUCHABLE STORIES: Uphams Corner, Dorchester 1999 - 2000

This interactive community portrait was created to squarely challenge the stereotypes that surround this urban Dorchester neighborhood. Home to many immigrant cultures, including the largest Cape Verdean population in Boston, Touchable Stories: Uphams Corner became a conversation on cultural identity/stereotypes, youth violence and pride in a community.
