Current Projects

Touchable Stories founder Shannon Flattery was named the John Nicolas Brown Center for Public Humanities Fellow for Fall 2009. She worked at the Brown University Center in Providence RI to digitize her archive of hundreds of hours of oral histories and working on development plans for a permanent project.

Touchable Stories is also working to develop The New England Folk Music Archives in Cambridge MA in cooperation with The Cambridge Historical Society.

Touchable Stories continues to collaborate with and consult to other organziations to energize and amplify their existing archives continue. These ANIMATING ARCHIVES projects include ongoing work with The Texas Folk Music Foundation at The Kerrville Folk Festival, Kerrville TX.
